Solutions
While AISight's uses in the government sector are apparent, applications for AISight are as broad as the security market itself. Whether monitoring Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) for troop movements, or transit and port cameras for intrusion and terrorist activities, or retail stores for criminal activity, AISight makes acting on security threats a practical reality.
AISight:
- Takes input from current and legacy cameras, recorded video or data files
- Recognizes, remembers and tracks objects frame by frame
- Rapidly learns what is acceptable behavior for any situation
- Identifies and predicts abnormal, suspicious and aggressive behavior
- Provides a wide range of alert systems to a human operator
- Requires no additional operator training
- Requires no changes to the existing infrastructure
Furthermore, AISight is hardware independent. Just plug the software into the existing infrastructure of cameras or video equipment and AISight, detects, tracks, learns and reports abnormal behavior in a way humans can rapidly understand. No additional human training or input is required.
“Border Patrol”
Perimeter control, such as the border patrol, can be difficult to manage with every camera view trained on different terrain. AISight™ quickly recognizes locations of fences and other structures and alerts when any unusual traffic occurs. There is no need to setup trip wires and other fixed variables that will never be accurate in this environment. AISight™ recognizes the three dimensional nature of open air object detection and it will send alerts to the nearest field security personnel giving them the ability to react immediately and in time to stop the intrusion.
“Human Activity Patterns”
AISight™ identifies and tracks humans as they go about their day. The system will actually predict how a human should move, act, and even stand before he does so. If the person deviates from this predicted track, an alert is sent. In many cases, since the system is always one step ahead of the people it is monitoring, an assault can be recognized before it happens.
“Abandoned Packages”
Abandoned packages can occur in any situation; they are not limited to airports only. In many cases the area to survey is complex and relying on Rules Based technology is not possible. A good example is a package left in a rail yard. It is very hard for a human to recognize it even if he was able to see the event. AISight™ easily spots the package even though it has not been pre-programmed to do so. In most cases an alert would have been sent even before the package was left, based on other behaviors. This allows personnel to catch the terrorist in the act and avert a tragedy.
“Traffic Monitoring”
After watching any roadway for a short period of time, AISight™ can map out exactly how traffic should progress. Even down to learning where the parking spaces are in a car lot. AlSight™ can also recognize cars or trucks that travel erratically, double or illegally park, lose a cargo load, travel against traffic, or any of a thousand possible situations that are then reported instantly.
“Critical Infrastructure”
US Ports pose a variety of issues for video surveillance and especially video analytics. In any give port there are hundreds of different environments to observe. A few would include cargo yards, roadways, warehouses, stockyards, ships, waterways, and others too numerous to list. If a “rules based” system were employed here it would take years to program every scenario to watch for in each camera’s view. Not only is this impractical and cost prohibitive, the systems simply don’t work under this limited technology.
By using AISight every camera can be monitored from day one. The intricate movements of people and machinery are learned in a very short time and ANY deviation from the norm is instantly reported. Whether it is a person jumping ship in the waterway, individuals casing the ship or cargo yards, or a crane malfunctioning … the appropriate personnel are alerted instantly.
